Fitted Bathrooms
How it works

How a fitted bathroom project runs

Every job follows the same path: a free home survey, a layout and itemised written quote, ordering once you approve the price, then the fit itself — usually six to ten working days for a full bathroom — and a clean handover.

  1. Your enquiry

Call, chat, or send the form. We ask a few questions about the room and book a survey at a time that suits you.

  2. Free home survey

We measure, photograph and check the pipework, soil stack, water pressure, floor, ventilation and electrics.

  3. Layout and written quote

You get layout options and an itemised quote listing every product and trade. We adjust it until it fits.

  4. Order and schedule

Once you approve the price in writing we order everything, confirm a start date and send a day-by-day plan.

  5. The fit

Strip-out, first fix, boarding and tanking, tiling, second fix, furniture and glass, then testing.

  6. Handover

We clean up, walk you through the room, give you the electrical certificate and product information.

What happens on each day of the fit?

A typical family bathroom with the same layout runs like this. New layouts, plastering or underfloor heating add a few days.

DayWork
1Protection laid, old suite and tiles stripped out, pipes capped, waste removed
2First-fix plumbing and electrics: new pipe runs, wastes, cables, extractor ducting
3Walls boarded, floor overlaid, wet areas tanked
4–5Wall and floor tiling, grouting
6–7Furniture, sanitaryware, brassware, glass, lighting and towel rail fitted
8Silicone, testing, snagging, clean and handover

Will I have a working toilet?

If this is your only toilet, tell us at the survey. The bathroom is out of use for most of the fit, so we plan the work to keep the time without a working toilet as short as we can, and we tell you in advance which days the water is off.

What if you find a problem behind the tiles?

Old houses hide things: rotten joists under a leaking bath, lead pipework, or no ventilation at all. If we find something, we stop, show you, and price the fix. Nothing extra is done or charged until you agree it in writing.

Who does the electrics and gas?

Electrical work is carried out by a qualified electrician, tested and certified, and notified to building control where the rules require it. If your boiler or any gas pipework needs altering, that work is done by a Gas Safe registered engineer.

Can you fit a suite I have already bought?

Yes. We check your product list at the survey so nothing is missing on the day. Products you supply are your supplier's responsibility if they arrive damaged or incomplete, and their warranties stay between you and the retailer.
