Who we are

This website, fitted-bathrooms.uk, is operated for Fitted Bathrooms, a trading name of S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd (company 16932889, registered office Unit 1 Hembs Crescent, Great Barr, Birmingham B43 5DG).

When you send an enquiry, it goes to Fitted Bathrooms. S&K Group Holdings Ltd (company 16703925, Unit 1 Hembs Crescent, Great Barr, Birmingham B43 5DG) is the data controller for personal information collected through this website — enquiry forms, the guide price tool, live chat and analytics. When you go ahead with a survey or quote, S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd becomes the controller for the information needed to quote, contract, carry out and invoice your job, and for your customer records. Both companies are part of the S&K Group and share enquiry information with each other only so that your enquiry can be answered.

What we collect

  • Enquiry and quote forms: your name, phone number, email, postcode, the kind of project, anything you write in the message, and the page you sent it from.
  • Guide price tool: the choices you make (room, size, layout, finish, extras), your postcode and, if you send it, your contact details.
  • Live chat and WhatsApp: the messages you send and the details you give in the pre-chat form.
  • Analytics (only if you accept): pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and how you reached the site.
  • Survey and job records: measurements, photographs of the room, product choices, quotes, contracts, payments and correspondence.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

  • To answer your enquiry, arrange a survey and prepare a quote — steps you ask for before entering a contract.
  • To carry out and invoice the work — performance of a contract.
  • To keep business, tax and building-regulation records — legal obligation.
  • To improve the website using analytics — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from cookie settings.
  • To deal with complaints or claims — our legitimate interests.

We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing unless you ask for it.

Who we share it with

  • Web3Forms, which delivers form submissions to our inbox.
  • tawk.to, which runs the live chat (loaded only after you accept cookies or click Live chat).
  • Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
  • Netlify, which hosts this website.
  • Higgsfield, whose content delivery network serves the homepage video on larger screens.
  • ImprovMX, which forwards email sent to our addresses.
  • WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to message us there.
  • The tradespeople who carry out your job, who receive only what they need to do it.
  • Building control bodies or competent person schemes where work must be notified.

Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not go ahead are deleted after 24 months. Job records are kept for seven years after the work is finished, for tax, legal and building-regulation purposes. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, ask for it to be transferred, and withdraw consent. Contact us using the details above. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
