Working in Llanelli

We work right across Llanelli — SA15 — and in neighbouring Gorseinon and Swansea.

Homes in and around Llanelli vary, so we look at the floor, the walls and the water system before we price anything. We survey in Llanelli before quoting fit-only work, so the soil stack, supplies and walls are checked against the products you have chosen. Fit-only work in Llanelli is quoted the same way as supply and fit: an itemised written quote after a survey of the room.

Most of Dyfed is supplied with soft water. That leaves you free to choose matt black, brushed brass or clear glass without worrying much about limescale. Hardness varies street by street, so check the figure for your postcode with your water supplier.

What the job includes

Strip-out of the old suite and tiles, and removal of the waste
Boarding, tanking in the shower area and tiling labour, with tiles and adhesive from you or sourced by us
First and second-fix plumbing: supplies, wastes, isolation valves and the connection to the soil stack
A survey of the room, the supplies and drainage, and the products you plan to use

Decisions to make first

Who buys the materials

Adhesive, grout, boards, tanking, wastes and fixings can come from you or from us. The quote says which, so nothing is assumed.

Fit-only or supply and fit

Fit-only lets you choose and buy every product yourself; supply and fit puts sourcing, deliveries and returns on us, with one price for everything.

Rules that apply in Wales

Wales uses the same water fittings regulations as England but has its own Part P with a wider notifiable list, so more of the electrical side of a refit needs notifying. A registered electrician handles this and gives you the certificate.

What is the price of bathroom fitting in Llanelli?

Is the water hard in Llanelli?

Who handles building control for bathroom fitting in Llanelli?

Building control for Llanelli is handled by the local council or an approved inspector. If your job needs sign-off — for example a new circuit, new drainage or a new extractor where there was none — we tell you at the survey and handle the notification as part of the work.

Will you fit a bathroom suite I bought online?

Yes. Send us the product list or links before the survey, and we will check sizes, wastes, valves and the cistern type against your room and plumbing. Missing or mismatched parts cause most fit-only delays, and they are far easier to sort before the start date than halfway through.
